ever, that he may, previous to that time procure from the


county commissioners an order stating the amount of such


levy, and directing the collector of taxes for his collection


district to receive said order, or so much thereof as may be


necessary for that purpose, in payment of his taxes ; and


the several collectors of taxes for said, county are hereby


authorized to accept such orders in payment of taxes due,


and use such orders as cash in their monthly settlements


with the clerk to the county commissioners as hereinafter


provided for.

a statement showing the amount of money levied by the

of the several amounts of money received by him, and the


sources from which the same were received, and each and


every disbursement made by him, the person to whom, and


the purpose for which, each payment was made, and the


balance on hand, the expense of publishing such state-

newspaper or newspapers in which said statement shall be


published shall be selected by said county commissioners ;


and said statements shall be in lien of the statements


required to be made and published by section 11 of article


25 of the Code of Public General Laws of this State.
