CHAPTER 375.


AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sec-


tions one hundred and four, and one hundred and five, of


article ten of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dor-


chester County," sub-title " County Commissioners," and


to add two additional sections to follow said section one


hundred and five to be numbered 105 A and 105 B, relat-


ing to the number term, election and compensation of


County Commissioners for said county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Amend-
ment

Maryland, That sections one hundred and four and one hun-


dred and five, of article ten of the Code of Public Local


Laws, title " Dorchester County," sub-title " County Com-


missioners," be and the same are hereby repealed and re-en-


acted, with amendments, and that two additional sections,


to follow section one hundred and five, and to be numbered

105 A and 105 B, be and the same are hereby added to said


article ten to read as follows :


104. The five county commissioners of Dorchester County


elected at the general election held on the Tuesday next

shall receive the same compensation now provided by law,


from and after the expiration of the term of office of the


present commissioners ; the board of county commissioners


of Dorchester County shall be composed of three members,


one of whom shall have charge of each commissioner dis-


trict to be divided as follows : Commissioner district num-


ber one, shall be composed of the first (or Fork), second or


(East New,Market), third (or Vienna), twelfth (or Williams-


burg), and fourteenth (or Linkwood) election districts ;


commissioners district number two, shall be composed of


the seventh (or Cambridge), eighth (or Neck), eleventh (or


Drawbridge), and thirteenth (or Bucktown), election dis-


tricts; and commissioner district number three shall be


composed of the fourth (or Parson's Creek), fifth (or Lakes )


sixth (or Hooper's Island), ninth (or Church Creek), and


tenth (or Straits) election districts.


105. There shall be elected at the general election to be
