among themselves by lot or otherwise, for what term each


one shall hold office in accordance with the foregoing pro-


vision, at the general election to be held on the Tuesday


next after the first Monday in November, 1893. Two


county commissioners shall be elected as successors to these


whose terms of office shall then expire, and at the general


election to be held on the Tuesday next after the first Mon-


day in November, 1895, three (3) county commissioners


shall be elected as successors to those whose terms of office


shall then expire, and the county commissioners so elected


in 1893 and 1895 shall each hold office for the terms of four


(4) years, and the terms of office of the County Commis-


sioners for Washington County shall thereafter be four

(4) years.


SEC. 3. Be it enacted. That this act shall take effect


from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 367.


AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Harford


County to levy annually a sum of money for the relief of


Adelia A. Crawley of said county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted ty the General Assembly of


Maryland, "That the County Commissioners of Harford


County be and they are hereby authorized in their discretion

hundred and ninety.
