CHAPTER 318.


AN ACT to authorize the trustees of the Johns Hopkins


University, a corporation incorporated under the General


Laws of Maryland to make and constitute the president


for the time being of its University, and each of his suc-


cessors in said office during their respective terms thereof


a member ex-officio of the board of trustees of the Johns


Hopkins University, in addition to the number of twelve


trustees of said university now authorized by law.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

CHAPTER 319.


AN ACT to amend the charter of the Home and Infirmary


of Western Maryland in the City of Cumberland by


repealing section three of the act of eighteen hundred


and ninety chapter one hundred and ninety and re-enact


the said section with amendments providing that seven


of the twelve directors of said corporation shall be


appointed by the Governor.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
