hearing applications for reinstatement by persons whose

name shall have been stricken off; the said respective

officers of registration shall sit at said several sittings with
|

|
|
open doors from nine o'clock a. in. to nine o'clock p. m. on

each day of their sessions, and their proceedings while so
|

|
|
sitting shall be public and open to free inspection without
|
|
|

any obstruction whatever.

|
SEC. 159 J. The several officers of registration shall give
|
|
|
|
in each year a collective notice signed by them of their said
|

select in their respective district.

SEC. 159 K. The said respective officers of registration
|
|
|
|
to whom, when sitting at any time appointed by this
|
|
|
|
article, and between the hours appointed by this article for
|
|
|
|
the registration of qualified voters in their proper registries
|

of voters, or for the revision of their registry or registries

of voters, an application is made by any person personally
|

appearing before such officers of registration that his name

shall be registered /as a qualified voter in any ward of

duplicate registries of voters for the wards of which they

arc respectively officers of registration, and in which the

|
|

person applying to be registered may have his legal resi-

dence, in the proper alphabetical place of the surname of

the applicant; first, the exact name of such person, record-
|
|
|
|
ing the surname and the first Christian name of the said
|
|
|
|
applicant in full ; second, the color of the applicant ; third,
|
|
|
|
