SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

CHAPTER 255.


AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of St.


Mary's County to levy upon the taxable property of said


county a sufficient sum of money for the erection of two


school-houses for white children in said county, one in the


first election district, and the other in the seventh election


district of said county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the County Commissioners of St. Mary's
