CHAPTER 235.


AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the claim


of the Baltimore Publishing Company, printers and sta-


tioners of Baltimore city for printing "cards of instruction


to voters" for the use of the State.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the comptroller of the treasurer be and he


is hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon

the treasurer for the sum of two hundred and ninety dollars


($290.00) in favor of " the Baltimore Publishing Company,"


printers and stationers of Baltimore city, for printing


"cards of instruction to voters," issued at the general


election of eighteen hundred and ninety, and eighteen hun-


dred and ninety-one, and contracted for by the Secretary


of State.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect


from the date of its passage.

Effective.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments new sec-


tion one hundred and thirty-seven of article thirty-three


of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title


"Elections," as enacted by the act of 1890, chapter 538.
