SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the said County Com-

missioners are hereby authorized and empowered to levy a

AN ACT to pay John Waters for work done under contract

with the Board of Public Works on tobacco warehouses,

SECTION 1, Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and

upon the Treasurer to pay John Waters the sum of eight

thousand, one hundred and eighteen dollars and twenty cents

($8,118.20) for- work done on tobacco ware houses, numbers

one, two, three and four, by order of the Board of Public

Works.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 29.

AN ACT to repeal article eighty-nine of the Code of Public

General Laws of Maryland, title "Statistics and Infor-

mation as to Branches of Industry," and to re-enact the

same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That article eighty-nine of the Code of Public

Repeal.
