Neighborhood Improvement Association of Lutherville, to


be used by said association exclusively for the improvement


of the roads of said village of Lutherville, provided twenty-


five or more persons owning such taxable real estate in said


village shall, prior to each annual levy, petition the said


county commissioners asking such special levy to be made,


and in said petition mentioning the amount desired to be


specially levied provided the same shall not exceed the


sum of twenty cents on each one hundred dollars of


assessable property, as aforesad, and provided further that


not more than six such levies shall be made.


SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That for the purposes


of this act the metes and bounds of the village of Lutherville


shall be deemed and taken to be as follows, that is to say :

Beginning at the southwesternmost intersection of the York

turnpike and Ridgeley's road, which road extends from


Mrs. T. E. Talbott's gate, on the Northern Central Rail-


way, to a point on said turnpike about fifty yards north of


Samuel Colling's property in Lutherville, and running in a


southerly direction, bounding on the west side of said turn-


pikes, to the northernmost side of the public road leading


from Rider's Switch to Lutherville ; thence with and bind-


ing on the northernmost and westernmost sides of said


public road, to the branch crossing said road south of the


property of the late D. C. H. Emory; thence westerly along


said branch to the easternmost side of the said Northern


Central Railway ; thence northerly, binding on the east


side thereof, to a point where said railway is intersected by


the south side of Ridgeley's road, aforesaid, and thence


easterly, binding on the south side of Ridgeley's road to


the place of beginning.


SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

AN ACT further to amend an act entitled " An act to incor-


porate the ' Baltimore City Passenger Railway Company,'"


and to enable said company to create capital stock repre-


senting betterments and additions heretofore made to its


property and distribute the same among shareholders.

ger Railway Company," since its original capital stock of
