CHAPTER 177.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to repeal section sixteen of chapter three hundred
|
|
|
|
and thirty-four of the acts passed at the January session
|
|
|
|
eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled "An act to regulate
|
|
|
|
the sale and the granting of licenses for the sale of spir-
|
|
|
|
ituous and fermented liquors in Baltimore County," and to
|
|
|
|
re-enact the same with amendments.
|
|
|
|
SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That section sixteen of chapter three hundred and
thirty-four of the acts passed at the January session eighteen
|

hundred and ninety, entitled "An act to regulate the sale
|

and the granting of licenses for the sale of spirituous and

|
|

fermented liquors in Baltimore County," be and the same is
|

|
|
hereby repealed and re-enacted as follows :
|
|
|
|
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That one-fourth of all moneys
|
|
|
|
paid to the said clerk for license feea under the provisions of
|

fees— use
|
|
|
this act, shall be held by him for the use of the State, and
|

|
|
|
paid over and accounted for as money received for license,
|
|
|
|
as has been heretofore accounted for, and the remainder
|
|
|
|
thereof shall be paid by him to the treasurer of Baltimore
|
|
|
|
County for county uses ; and upon the money so received
|
|
|
|
and paid over for county uses, the said clerk sliall receive
|
|
|
|
2 1/2 per centum and no more.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
|
