SEC. 237. There shall be appointed during the month of

April, annually, one person as supervisor, possessing the
|
|
|
|
same qualifications as the mayor, whose duty it shall be to

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the following

SEC. 246 B. The mayor and city council of Laurel may

by ordinance require each and every land owner to keep

SEC. 246 C. The mayor and city council of Laurel shall

have the power in order to enable them to contract for

water in said town with any company, corporation or indi-

Provided, that in making the contracts for water they

shall bind the company, corporation, or individual to keep

the water works in complete repair and working order and
|
|

continue their working at such periods and intervals as will
|
|
|
|
furnish and fully supply water, sufficient at least to protec
|
|
|
|
the whole town from fire, and furnish, maintain and suppl;
|
|
|
|
pipes, mains and plugs sufficient for said purpose, the per
|
|
|
|
formance of said agreements to be a condition precedent to
|
|
|
|
the payment of the rent for said water. No contract to be
|
|
|
|
made for more than two years at a time.

SEC. 246 D. In order to enable the mayor and city
