ferred upon said Frostburg Water Board by sections six,

seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen and

powers, &c

seventeen of said chapter 130 of the acts of Assembly of


1890 not herein specifically delegated to said superintendent,
and said committee on water works are hereby conferred


upon and shall vest in the mayor and councilmeu of Frost-


burg, to be thereafter performed, exercised and availed of


by them as fully and completely as they could have been


exercised or performed by said Water Board, had it not been


abolished by this act.


SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That all parts of chapter 130

Repealed

aforesaid of the act of 1890, which are in conflict or incon-


sistent with this act, and only such paits thereof and no


other be, and they are hereby repealed.


SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 125.


AN ACT to give legislative assent of the State of Maryland


to the provision of an act of Congress approved August


30th, 1890, and entitled an act to apply a portion of the


proceeds of the public land to the more complete endow-


ment and support of the colleges for the benefit of agri


culture and the mechanic arts established under the


provisions of an act of Congress approved July second,


eighteen hundred and sixty-two.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the act of Congress approved August


thirtieth, eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled "An act to
