CHAPTER 94.

AN ACT to repeal sections thirty-seven A, thirty-seven B
|

and thirty-seven C, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
|
|
|
|
"Cecil County," sub-title "Auctions," as enacted by
|
|
|
|
chapter five hundred and seven of the Acts of the General
|
|
|
|
Assembly of eighteen hundred and ninety.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, That section thirty-seven A,
|
|
|
Repeal.
|
thirty-seven B and thirty-seven C, of the Code of Public
|
|
|
|
Local Laws, title "Cecil County," sub -title "Auctions, "as
|
|
|
|
enacted by chapter five hundred and seven, of the acts of
|
|
|
|
eighteen hundred and ninety of the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
Maryland be and the same is hereby repealed.
|
|
|
Effective
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
|
|
|
|
from the date of its passage.
|
|
|
|

|
AN ACT to repeal sections one hundred and eighty-five and
|
|
|
|
one hundred and eighty-six of article two of the Code of
|
|
|
|
Public Local Laws, title " Anne Arundel County," sub-
|
|
|
|
title "Orphans' Court," and to re-enact the same with
|
|
|
|
amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|

Maryland, That sections one hundred and eighty-five and
|
|
|
enacted.

one hundred and eighty-six of article two of the Code of

Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub-title
|
|
|
|
" Orphans' Court," be aud the same are hereby repealed and
|
|
|
|
re-enacted with amendments so as to read as follows :
|
|
|
|
185. The Orphans' Court for Anne Arundel County shall
|
|
|
|
be held on Tuesday of each week in the year and on no other
|
|
|
Orphans'
Court
|
days, provided, that when it shall appear necessary to said
|
|
|
|
Orphans' Court they may adjourn from day to day to hear
|
|
|
|
arguments or for the examination of witnesses in causes
|
|
|
|
coming under the jurisdiction of said court in which such
|
|
|
|
examination of witnesses or arguments may be desired
|
|
|
|
or necessary.
|
|
|
|
186. The said court shall sit for the transaction of business
|
|
|
|
from ten o'clock a. m. until three o'clock p. m. , and the judges
|
|
|
Salary and
mileage
|
of said court shall each receive the sum of four dollars for
|
|
|
|
every day's attendance upon the session of said court, and
|
|
|
|
