SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,

That the treasurer of the State of Maryland be and he is hereby

required upon the warrant of the comptroller of the State, to pay

to Zachariah W. Taylor the sum of seven dollars and ninety cents

to Wesley Clarkson, the sum of seven dollars and ninety cents ;

to Nathaniel Baker, the sum of seven dollars and ninety cents ;

to L. Samuel Perdue, the sum of twenty-three dollars and seventy

cents; to Matthias Taylor and William J. Bennett, partners, trad-

ing as Taylor and Bennett, the sum of twenty-three dollars and

seventy cents, and to Thomas H. C. Morgan the sum of twenty-

seven dollars and sixty-five cents for double license paid into the

treasury of Maryland.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effecf from

the date of its passage.
