CHAPTER 106.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to refund to Charles G. Spickwall a sum of money er-
|
|
|
|
roneously paid into the treasury of this State.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That the treasurer be and he is hereby directed upon the warrant
|
|
|
|
of the comptroller therefor, which he is authorized to draw, to
|
|
|
|
pay to Charles G. Spickwall the sum of eleven dollars and sixty-
|
|
|
|
five cents, the same being an over-payment into the treasury of
|

|
|
|
Maryland by the said Charles G. Spickwall, as collector of State
|
|
|
|
and county taxes for the third collection district of Calvert
|
|
|
|
county for the year eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, the same
|
|
|
|
having been recommended by the officers of the treasury depart-
|
|
|
|
ment.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from

CHAPTER 107.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section seven-

teen, of article sixty-three, of the Code of Public General

|
Laws of eighteen hundred and eighty-eight, entitled "Me-

|
|
|
chanics' Lien."
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland
|
|
|
|
That section seventeen, of article sixty-three, of the Code of Pub-
|
|
|
|
lic General Laws of Maryland of eighteen hundred and eighty-
|
Repeal
|
|
|
eight, title " Mechanics' Lien," be and the same is hereby repealed
|
|
|
|
and re-enacted, so as to read as follows, viz :
|
|
|
|
SEC. 17. Each person entitled to such lien shall file a claim or
|
|
|
|
statement of his demand in the office of the clerk of the circuit
|
|
