CHAPTER 95.

AN ACT to repeal section thirty-five, of article twenty-six, of the
|
|
|
|
Code of Public General Laws, title "Courts," sub-title "Court
|
|
|
|
of Appeals," relating to the compensation of the crier of the
|
|
|
|
court of appeals and the sheriff appointed to attend said court,
|
|
|
|
and to re-enact the same with amendments, defining the duties
|
|
|
|
and fixing the salary of the crier of said court of appeals and
|
|
|
|
the compensation of the sheriff appointed to attend said court.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That section thirty-five, of article twenty-six, of the Code of Pub-
|
|
|
|
lic General Laws, title "Courts," sub-title "Court of Appeals,"
|
|
|
|
relating to the compensation of the crier of the court of appeals
|
Repeal.
|
|
|
and of the sheriff appointed to attend said court, be and the same
|
|
|
|
is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
|
|
|
|
35. It shall be the duty of any crier appointed by the court of
|
|
|
|
appeals to be in attendance at the rooms of said court every day
|
|
|
|
in the year, legal holidays and Sundays excepted; and he shall
|
|
|
|
receive for his services one thousand dollars per annum, payable
|
