CHAPTER 595.


AN ACT to amend section two hundred and eight, of article ten,


of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester county,"


sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," by adding certain


sub-sections thereto.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

SUB-SECTION 1. No cider shall be sold in any of the election


districts of Dorchester county, wherein the sale of whisky or other
intoxicating liquors is unlawful, except apple cider made in said

adulterated or affected with alcohol or intoxicating liquors or


with any drug whatsoever.


SUB-SEC. 2. No one shall be allowed to sell apple cider in any

be paid for every license that is to operate for one year, but if


any person or firm ask a license after the first day of May in any

intended to operate to the first day of the following May; no


license shall be issued for the fraction of a month.


SUB-SEC. 4. On the first day of April and on the first day of


October in each year, the said clerk shall make a report to said


school commissioners as to the number of licenses issued and the
