CHAPTER 563.


AN ACT to authorize and direct the attorney-general of the State


to take such steps as may be necessary to obtain a decision of


the supreme court of the United States, which will settle the


controversy between the State of Maryland and West Virginia


concerning the true location of that portion of the boundary


line, between the two States, lying between Garrett county,


Maryland, and Preston county, West Virginia, and to appro-


priate a sum of money therefor.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

three, of article seventy-two, of the Code of Public Genera


Laws of Maryland, title "Oysters," sub-title "The Oyster Fund/


so as to provide for the payment of fines collected under sec


tions one to forty-one, of said article, to the respective countie


or city where such fines shall accrue.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland


That section twenty-three, of article seventy-two, of the Code of

Fund," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
