SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said mayor and ci-ty council
of Cumberland shall levy on the taxable property, of said city a

sum of money each and every year sufficient to pay five thousand
dollars of said bonds and the coupons on the bonds issued under
|
|
|
|
and by virtue of this act as said bonds and coupons mature and
|
|
|
|
become due.

Effective.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
|
|
|
|
the date of its passage.
|

AN ACT to pay J. H. Medairy and Company a sum of money due

them for supplies furnished by them to State tobacco warehouse
|
|
|
|
number two, and for accounts assigned to them (for valuable
|
|
|
|
consideration) for supplies furnished to said warehouse number
|
|
|
|
two.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland.
|
|
|
|
That the comptroller of the treasury be, and he is hereby directed
|
|
|
|
to draw his warrant on the treasurer in favor of J. H. Medairy
|
|
|
|
and Company for the sum of fifty-seven dollars and seventy-five
|
|
|

cents, being the amount certified to be due them by the inspector
|
|
|

tion district number five in Harford county.
