WHEREAS, said money less twenty-five per centum, was erro-

neously paid into the treasury, and in a direct violation of chapter
one hundred and twenty-nine, acts eighteen hundred and sixty-

two, passed March third, prohibiting the issuing of patents for-
|
|
|
|
lands covered by navigable waters; now therefore,

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That the comptroller of the treasury is hereby authorized and
|
|
|

directed to draw his warrant upon the treasurer in favor of John
|
|
|
|
C. Praley and Ennals Collins, heirs of Henry Collins and William
|
|
|
|
H. Travers, for fifty-nine dollars and thirty-four cents out of
|
|
|
|
any moneys not otherwise appropriated.
|
|
|
Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
|
|
|
|
the date of its passage.
|
|
|
|

CHAPTER 519.

AN ACT to add an additional section to article fifty-five, of the
|
|
|
|
Code of Public General Laws, title " Librarian, State," to be
|
|
|
|
designated as "Section ten B," to provide for distributing one
|
|
|
|
copy of each volume of the Maryland reports to the State tax
|
|
|
|
commissioner.
|
|
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That an additional section be and the same is hereby added to ar-
|
|
|
|
ticle fifty-five, of the Code of Public General Laws, title " Li-
|
|
|
|
brarian, State," to be designated as "Section ten B," to read aa
|
|
|
|
follows :
|
|
|
|
SEC. 10 B. The librarian shall distribute one copy of each of
|
|
|

the volumes of the Maryland reports to the State tax commis-
|
|
|
|
sioner.
|
|
|
Effective.
