James' point to the north end or limit of the point of land on

the Susquehanna shore on the west side of the mouth of Wool-

ford's creek, or to fasten or stick stakes in that part of Black

|

water river lying between a line drawn from Booze's ditch to the

|
|
|
opposite side of the river, except in the bends of said river where
|
|
|
|
stake-weirs are now set.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the following new section to

SEC. 185 A. It shall be unlawful for any person, except a bona

Dorchester county, to use any patent twine weir or other twine

weir, pound-net, fyke, or hauling seine of over three hundred
|
|
|
|
and fifty feet in length for the purpose of taking or catching fish,
|
|
|
|
terrapins or crabs in Honga river, or that part of Fishing bay
|

|
lying south of a line from Roasting ear point to the upper side
|
|
|
|
of Duck island cove; and it shall also be unlawful for any other
|
|
|
|
than the bona fide residents of Parson's creek district, in Dor-
|
|
|
|
chester county, to use any patent twine weir or other twine wier,
|
|
|
|
pound-net, fyke or hauling seine of over three hundred and fifty
|
|
|
|
feet in length for the purpose of taking or catching fish, terra-
|
|
|
|
pins or crabs in that part of the Little Choptank river and its
|
|
|
|
tributaries lying south of a line from James' point to the north
|
|
|
|
end or limit of the point of land on the Susquehanna shore,
|
|
|
|
which lies on the west side of the month of Woolford's creek.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from

CHAPTER 51 7.
|

AN ACT to enable the qualified voters of Kent county to deter-
|
|
|
|
mine by ballot whether spirituous or fermented liquors shall
|
|
|
|
not be sold in said county or shall be sold only as hereinafter
|
|
|
|
provided, and to repeal all acts inconsistent herewith.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That article fifteen, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Kent
|
|
|
|
county," sub-title "Liquors and intoxicating drinks," shall not
|

remain in force on and after the first day of June, eighteen hun-
|
|
|
|
dred and ninety, and that all acts or parts of acts inconsistent
|
|
|
|
with the provisions of this act shall be repealed after said last
|
|
|
|
mentioned date; provided, however, that this act shall not be con-
|
|
|
|
strued to repeal said article fifteen, of the Code of Public Local
|
|
|
|
Laws, title "Kent county," sub-title "Liquors and intoxicating
|
