&c., Emily J. Fardy did lease unto the "Home missionary society


of Maryland annual conference of the methodist protestant


church," the lot of ground situate on the southwest corner of


Lafayette avenue and Gilmor street in said city of Baltimore, in


said indenture particularly described, for the term and at the


rent in said indenture set forth.


Fourteenth. And whereas, by assignment dated June thirtieth,

dred and thirteen, folio two hundred and eighty-five, &c., said

in said lot of ground to the minister and trustees of the metho-

Baltimore, a body corporate under the laws of this State.


Fifteenth. And whereas, by indenture dated July first, Anno


Domini, eighteen hundred and eighty-four, and recorded among


the aforesaid land records in liber J. B., number ten hundred and


fourteen, folio two hundred and ninety-eight, &c., Patrick H.

Walker and wife did lease unto said minister and trustees of the


methodist protestant church of west Baltimore station in the city


of Baltimore, a lot of ground in the city of Baltimore, situate on


the south side of Lafayette avenue and immediately adjoining the


lot hereinbefore mentioned and particularly described in said


indenture, for the term and at the rent in said indenture set forth.


Sixteenth. And whereas, said ministers and trustees of the


methodist protestant church of west Baltimore station in the city


of Baltimore, subsequently acquired the reversionary and fee-simple
