CHAPTER 480.


AN ACT to incorporate the town of Takoma park, Montgomery


and Prince George's counties.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That the inhabitants of the town of Takoma park, Montgomery

and Prince George's counties, shall be and are hereby made a body


corporate by the name and style of "The mayor and council of Ta-


koma park," and by that name shall have perpetual succession,


sue and be sued, and have and use a common seal.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the limits of said town shall


be as follows : beginning at the intersection of the third line of


the District of Columbia with the Metropolitan branch of the


Baltimore and Ohio railroad, and running with the east side of


said railroad to the northwest corner of Lewis and Heaton's sub-


division; then with the outlines of said division to the north

ing the qualifications prescribed for voters by the laws of this


State, and having resided in said town for three months previous

p. m. elect one person, at least thirty years of age, mayor of said
