said Chesapeake bank as hereinafter set out, and when fifty thou-


sand dollars in amount of said subscriptions shall have been paid


in in cash, said bank may commence business and proceed in all


things according to the charter.


SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the affairs of said body cor-


porate shall be managed by a board of seven directors, one of


whom appointed by said board shall be president of said body


corporate, and the first election of directors shall take place


within thirty days after the closing of the book of subscriptions


for the capital stock above mentioned, and the reorganization of


said body corporate as above required, of which election two weeks'
