sand dollars in amount of said subscriptions shall have been paid

in in cash, said bank may commence business and proceed in all

things according to the charter.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the affairs of said body cor-

porate shall be managed by a board of seven directors, one of

whom appointed by said board shall be president of said body

corporate, and the first election of directors shall take place

within thirty days after the closing of the book of subscriptions

for the capital stock above mentioned, and the reorganization of

said body corporate as above required, of which election two weeks'

the commissioners aboved named, by publication once a week in

some daily newspaper published in Baltimore city, and until such

election the commissioners above-named shall manage and control

the affairs of said body corporate, the Chesapeake bank, except as

ond section of this act, and the term of service of said directors

so elected shall continue until the date of the annual election of

the board of directors designated by the charter of the Chesa-

peake bank, and until their successors are chosen.
