CHAPTER 454.


AN ACT to authorize the board of public works of this State to


purchase fire hose for the better protection of the State prop-


erty in Annapolis.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted ty the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the board of public works of this State be and they are here-

Fire hose.

by authorized to purchase a quantity of fire hose, not to exceed


one thousand feet, for the protection of the State buildings in


Annapolis city against fire.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That for this purpose, the sum of


three hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is


hereby appropriated, which shall be paid by the treasurer upon
the warrant of the comptroller, and when the said purchase of fire

Baltimore county to appropriate a sum of money to build a fire-


engine house in thirteenth district of said county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the county commissioners of Baltimore county be and they


are hereby authorized and empowered to appropriate the sum of
