For the salaries of the chief judges of the first seven judicial


circuits, three thousand five hundred dollars each, twenty-four


thousand five hundred dollars; for the salaries of fourteen asso-


ciate judges of the first seven judicial circuits, two thousand eight


hundred dollars each, thirty-nine thousand two hundred dollars ;


for the salaries of the judge of the court of appeals from Balti-

supreme bench of Baltimore city, three thousand five hundred


dollars each, twenty-four thousand and five hundred dollars; for


the salary of the attorney-general, three thousand dollars; for


commissions to attorneys on claims of the State placed in their


hands for collection, five thousand dollars, or so much thereof as


may be necessary; for the crier of the court of appeals, one thou-


sand dollars; for the salary of the State reporter, one thousand


dollars; for the State's subscription to two hundred copies each


of volumes seventy-five and seventy-six, of the Maryland reports,


twenty-eight hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be neces-


sary, and for the paper, on which said volumes may be printed,


four hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, in


accordance with article eight, of the Code of Public General


Laws.


MILITIA.


For the support of the militia of the State, to be expended under


the supervision of the governor, forty thousand dollars, or so


much thereof as may be necessary; for the salary of the adjutant-

expenses of his office, two hundred and fifty dollars, or so much


thereof as may be necessary, to be paid out of the appropriation


for the support of the militia, and the balance of said appropria-

PENSIONS.


For the payment of pensions granted by the various acts and


resolutions of the general assembly to Mrs. Sarah Ann Watson,

Pensions.

Mrs. Julia A. Dorsey and William Brown, during their natural


lives, in accordance with the provisions of resolutions sixty-three,


of eighteen hundred and forty-nine, chapter two hundred and
