CHAPTER 451.


AN ACT to appropriate a certain sum of money for the Ladies'


confederate memorial and aid association of Maryland, in Bal-


timore city.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That the sum of one thousand dollars be and the same is hereby


appropriated to the Ladies' confederate memorial and aid associ-
ation of Maryland, in Baltimore city, for each of the years eigh-

two; provided, that the trustees of said association shall make


written report to this General Assembly at its next session, show-


ing in what manner this appropriation shall have been used, and
