dred and eighty-two, the same having been approved by the officers
of the treasury department.

Effective.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the


date of its passage.

CHAPTEE 392.


AN ACT to authorize the mayor and city council of Baltimore


to contract with the St. Agnes hospital of the city of Baltimore,


located at Mount Dougherty, for the care of indigent sick


patients, and to appropriate money to pay for the same.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,


That the mayor and city council of Baltimore be and they are

Indigent

hereby authorized and empowered to contract with the St. Agnes

patients

hospital of the city of Baltimore, located at Mount Dougherty, a


body corporate of the State of Maryland, for the board, lodging


of and medical attendance to indigent patients at said hospital,


such indigent patients to be citizens or residents of Baltimore


city, and to make appropriation s for payment for the same.

Effective.

AN ACT to give and grant the sanction and consent of the Gen-


eral Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, grants, sales, deeds


and purchases by various persons in this State, to or for the use


of sundry religious corporations therein named.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the


sanction and consent of the said general assembly, be and it is

precincts of Baltimore, a religious corporation, of two adjoining

dred and eighty-nine, and the other dated December thirteenth,
