CHAPTER 358.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to refund to Charles Abell, late collector of taxes for
|
|
|
|
the third election district of St. Mary's county, the sum of six-
|
|
|
|
teen dollars and ninety-two cents, for money paid into the treas-
|
|
|
|
ury of the State in excess of the amount due by him for State
|
|
|
|
taxes for eighteen hundred and eighty-eight and eighteen hun-
|
|
|
|
dred and eighty-nine.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That the comptroller be and he is hereby directed to issue his
|
|
|
|
warrant upon the treasurer for sixteen dollars and ninety-eight
|
|
|
|
cents to pay Charles Abell for money paid by him into the treas-
|
To repay.
|
|
|
ury as collector of taxes for the third election district of St.
|
|
|
|
Mary's county, for the years eighteen hundred and eighty-eight
|
|
|
|
and eighteen, hundred and eighty-nine, in excess of the amount
|
|
|
|
due by him as collector aforesaid.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
|

CHAPTER 359.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to authorize and direct the register of wills of Queen
|
|
|
|
Anne's county, Maryland, to collect and file in separate bundles
|
|
|
|
or boxes suitable for the purpose, and to properly index the
|
|
|
|
same, the papers and proceedings relating to and connected
|
|
|
|
with the different estates of deceased persons settled, or in pro-
|
|
|
|
cess of settlement, in his office, from the year aighteen hun-
|
|
|
|
dred and fifty to the year eighteen hundred and eighty-three ;
|
|
|
|
and also to properly file and index the papers and accounts re-
|
|
|
|
ating to guardianships now in process of settlement in his
|
|
|
|
office.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That the register of wills of Queen Anne's county, Maryland, be
|
|
|
|
and he is authorized and directed to collect and place in separate
|
|
|
|
bundles properly enclosed in envelopes or boxes suitable for the
purpose, and numbered, the papers and proceedings relating to
and connected with the different estates of deceased persons set-

tled in his office, from the year eighteen hundred and fifty to the

|
|
|
year eighteen hundred and eighty-three, when a system of this
|
|
|
|
kind was adopted in said office, and to properly file in like man-
|
