CHAPTER 285.


AN ACT to authorize and empower the sheriff of Garrett county


to employ a warden for the county jail of said county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

Warden.

That the sheriff of Garrett county be and he is hereby authorized


and empowered to employ some suitable person as warden to the


county jail of Garrett county whenever a prisoner or prisoners


may be confined in said jail, and the services of such warden are
