CHAPTER 240.


AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for introducing steam


radiators into the old library of the State house and for repair-


ing said library.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That the sum of three hundred dollars or so much thereof as may


be necessary, be and the same hereby is appropriated out of any
money in the State treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the

CHAPTER 241.


AN ACT appropriating the sum of money therein mentioned to


refund to Virginia C. Massie, administratrix of John W. Massie,


late of Baltimore city, deceased, being certain moneys by him


erroneously paid to the register of wills of Baltimore city, as


executor of Winfield M. Simpson, of Baltimore city, deceased,


as the State tax on executors' commissions, in pursuance of


article eighty-one, section ninety-seven, of the Code of Public


General Laws of the State of Maryland.


WHEREAS, it appears by the auditor's account "A," ratified


and confirmed in the case of Mary V. Massie, et. al., in the cir-


cuit court of Baltimore city, docket "A," eighteen hundred and

Massie, as executor of Winfield M. Simpson, deceased, erroneously

nine dollars and eight cents, being a tax on commissions in ac-
