CHAPTER 237.


AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and three, of article six-


teen, of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Mary-


land, title " Montgomery county," sub-title " Gaithersburg,"


and to re-enact the same with amendments.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,


That section one hundred and three, of article sixteen, of the


Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Mont-

hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as


follows :


103. The county commissioners, justices of the peace, sheriff,


constables and all other county and State officers shall have, hold


and exercise their offices and jurisdiction in said town as if this

Montgomery county shall, on or before the firs b day of January in


the year eighteen hundred and ninety-one, and on or before the


first day of January in each and every year thereafter, pay over to


the commissioners of said town that proportion of the entire


county levy for the repair of roads, which the total real property


assessed within the limits of the town of Gaithersburg bears to


the whole amount of assessed property in Montgomery county, so


that the commissioners of Gaithersburg may receive and disburse

amount levied upon the real property within the corporate limits


of the town of Gaithersburg for the repair of roads by the said


county commissioners of Montgomery county.


SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the
