premises when bought, the same certificate shall be sufficient for


the clerk to issue an oyster house and liquor traders' license to


the same individual or firm, if approved by him and the appli-


cant complying with the requirements of this law and paying the


amounts required for oyster house and liquor traders' licenses.


74. Any person to whom the said clerk shall issue a license to


keep an inn or tavern, or a license under section sixty-nine, or a


license under section seventy, shall pay to the said clerk the sum

said licenses and the further sum of ($75) seventy-five dollars on


each license issued, the said latter sum to be paid by said clerk to


the school commissioners of the said county for the use of the

CHAPTER 225.


AN ACT providing for more rapid transit upon the railways of


the president, managers and company of the Baltimore and


Yorktown turnpike road, and enlarging the powers of the said


corporation.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That the president, managers and company of the Baltimore and


Yorktown turnpike road are hereby authorized to use for the pro-


pulsion of cars on their railway tracks in Baltimore county and


Baltimore city, any motive power or system of traction whatever,
