SEC. 245. The county commissioners shall annually pay to the


mayor and city council of Laurel when and as collected (but less

may be acquired for the extension of the Maryland penitentiary


and for the erection of necessary buildings thereon.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That the sum of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000,)
