SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That it shall be the duty of


the board of police commissioners of the city of Baltimore im-


mediately after the passage of this act, to divide and lay off the


said ninth, eleventh, twelfth and twentieth wards, with as much


regularity in form as possible, each precinct to contain as nearly


as practicable an equal number of qualified voters, and so that


the portion of the twentieth ward which by this act is made a


portion of the eleventh ward shall constitute one precinct of the
