CHAPTER 174.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay sundry bills for

repairs to the State normal school building.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That the comptroller of the treasury be and he is hereby author-
|
|
|
|
ized and directed to issue his warrant upon the treasurer of Mary-
|
|
|
|
land to pay to Thomas C. Basshor and Wallace Stebbins, partners,
|
|
|
|
trading as Thomas C. Basshor and company, the sum of two hun-
|
|
|
|
dred and fifty-four dollars and five cents; to C. J. Stewart and
|
|
|
|
W. C. Stewart, partners, trading as C. J. Stewart and Sons the
|
|
|
|
sum of thirty-one dollars and eighteen cents; to George Schu-
|

|
macher and George H. Eice, partners, trading as Schumacher
|
|
|
|
and Eice, the sum of twenty-six dollars and ninety cents; to
|
|
|
|
Charles A. Vaile and Louis F. Young, partners, trading as Vaile
|
|
|
|
and Young, the sum of fifty-nine dollars and sixty cents; and to
|
|
|
|
William H. Rothrock and Harry O. Stebbins, partners, trading as
|
|
|
|
Rothrock and Stebbins, the sum of eighteen dollars and seventy-
|
|
|
|
five cents, in all three hundred and ninety dollars and forty-eight
|
|
|
|
cents, for material furnished and work done on the State normal
|
|
|
|
school building in the years eighteen hundred and eighty-eight
|
|
|
|
and eighteen hundred and eighty-nine, said warrants to be issued
|
|
|
|
iipon the certificate of the principal of the said State normal
|
|
|
|
school that the bills are correct.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
|

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section oue

hundred and eighty-five, of article seventeen, of Public Local
|
|
|
|
Laws of Maryland, entitled "Prince George's county," sub-title
|
|
|
|
"Justices of the Peace and Constables."
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That section one hundred and eighty-five, of article seventeen, of
|
|
|
|
the Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Prince George's
|
Repeal.
|
|
|
county," sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables," be and
|
|
|
|
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
|
|
|
|
185. The several justices of the peace for Prince George's
|
|
|
|
county are authorized and required to pay to the county commis-
|
|
|
|
sioners of said county every three months all money or moneys
|

|
|
they may have in hand at such times arising from fines or pen-
|
|
|
|
alties imposed under the two preceding sections, delivering at the
|
|
|
