	SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,
	That the first section of the Act passed at the January session of
	the General Assembly of Maryland, eighteen hundred and eighty-
	two, chapter four hundred and ninety-five, entitled "An Act to
	incorporate the National Trust and Guarantee Company," be and
	the same is hereby amended by striking from the said section the	Style.
	word "National," and inserting in place thereof the word "Balti-
	more," so that the corporate title, name and style of the said cor-
	poration shall hereafter be "The Baltimore Trust and Guarantee
	Company."
	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from	Effective.
	the date of its passage.

	CHAPTER 12.
	AN ACT to authorize the Governor of Maryland to appoint a
	notary public in the town of Mechanicstowu, Frederick county,
	Maryland.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,	Notary.
	That the Governor of this State be and he is hereby authorized to
	appoint a notary public in Mechamcstown, in Frederick county,
	Maryland.
	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from	Effective.
	the date of its passage.

	CHAPTEE 13.
	AN ACT to repeal section nine, of chapter one hundred and eighty-
	eight, of the acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
	at the December session, eighteen hundred and forty-seven, en-
	titled " An Act to incorporate the Mutual Fire Insurance Com-
	pany of Montgomery county," and to re-enact the same with
	amendments.
	SECTION. 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,
	That section nine, of chapter one hundred and eighty-eight, of
	the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the De-
	cember session, eighteen hundred and forty-seven, entitled "An	repeal
	act to incorporate the Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Mont-
	gomery county," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
	so as to read as follows.
