	plaintiff or plaintiffs, the amount of the judgment,
	the date at which it was obtained, and from which
	it bears interest, the term of the court, and, if the
	records of said court show that the same has been
	satisfied, made, or in any way discharged, the said
	index to set forth the said fact ; and the said clerk
	shall keep a full and general alphabetical index of
	all judgments recovered in said court from the said
	first day of January, in the year eighteen hundred
	and eighty, after the manner above set forth.
	SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the cost
	of said books shall be paid by the County Commis-	Cost —how
	sioners of Washington county, and that the expense	paid
	of preparing and making said indexes shall be paid
	by the said clerk out of the surplus proceeds of his
	office.

	CHAPTER 51.
	AN ACT to amend article four of the Public Lo-
	cal Laws of this State, title " City of Baltimore,"
	sub-title " Justices of the Peace and Constables,"
	by adding thereto an additional section, relating
	to costs in peace cases.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That article four of the Public	Amended
	Local Laws of this State, title " City of Baltimore,"	and addition-
	sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables,"	al section ad- ded
	shall be amended by adding thereto the following
	additional section, relating to costs in peace cases.
	SECTION H. When any person arrested in the city	Pay all costs
