No. 9.


Whereas it has been represented to this General


Assembly that the channel of Corsica creek, at


Centerville harbor, in the county of Queen Anne's,

Preamble.

is obstructed by shoals that are a hindrance to


navigation and seriously interfere with commerce;


therefore,


Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Mary-


land, That our Senators in Congress are instructed,
and our Representatives be requested, to use their

Urge appro-
priation.

influence in urging the necessity of an appropriation


by the General Government for the purpose of deep-


ening the said channel in Corsica creek.
