the same are hereby repealed, and that this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.

	CHAPTER 473.
	AN ACT to authorize the Comptroller to issue his
	warrant upon the Treasurer to pay Z. S. Claggett,
	of Washington county, the sum of twenty-seven
	dollars for attendance as a witness before a com-
	mittee of the Legislature in eighteen hundred and
	seventy- six, in the case of the State vs. Woolford.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he
	is hereby authorized and directed to issue his war-	Issue war-
	rant upon the Treasurer, to pay Z. S. Claggett, of	rant.
	Hagerstown, Washington county, the sum of twenty-
	seven dollars, the amount due him since eighteen
	hundred and seventy-six, for attendance as a witness
	before a committee of the Legislature in the case of
	the State of Maryland vs. Levin H. Woolford.
