SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 444.

AN ACT to repeal sub-section one hundred and

thirteen of section three of chapter four hundred

and eighty-three of the acts of eighteen hundred

and seventy-four, entitled "An act to repeal article

eighty-one of the Code of Public General Laws of

the State of Maryland, entitled 'Revenue and

Taxes,' " and to re-enact the same with amend-

ments, and re-enact the said sub-section so as to

read as follows :

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That sub-section one hundred and

thirteen of section three of chapter four hundred and

eighty-three of the acts of eighteen hundred and

of Maryland, entitled 'Revenue and Taxes,' and to

re-enact the same with amendments," be and the

same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read

as follows, viz :

SEC. 113. All estates, real, personal and mixed ;

money, public and private securities for money of

every kind passing from any person who may die,

seized and possessed thereof, being in this State, or
