act to repeal an act passed at January session, eigh-


teen hundred and seventy-two, chapter forty four,


entitled ' An act to repeal an act passed January


session, eighteen hnndred and seventy, chapter


eleven, to repeal section two hundred and four of


article twenty-one of the Code of Public Local Laws


for Wanhington county, relating to justices of the


peace and constables in said county,' " and to re-


enact the said act of eighteen hundred and seventy-


two, chapter forty-four, with amendments, and an


additional provision in regard to registers of voters


in said county, be and the same is hereby repealed


and re enacted, so that section two hundred and four


of article twenty-one of the Code of Public Local


Laws, title "Washington county," sub-title " Justices


of the Peace and Constables," as said section was


amended by said act, shall read as follows :


204. There shall be the following number of jus-


tices of the peace and constables for Washington


county, to wit: for election district number one,


two justices of the peace and two constables; for


election district number two, four justices of the


peace and two constables; for election district num-


ber three, four justices of the peace and three con-


stables ; for election district number four, three jus-


tices of the peace and two constables ; for election


district number tive, four justices of the peace and


two constables, one of which justices shall always


be taken from the town of liancock ; for election


district number six, two justices of the peace and
