aminer or examiners, as the case may be, appointed
in accordance with the provisions of said act, shall
have power to lay out, open, condemn and construct
said North street southwardly from Denmead street
to North avenue in a direct line and of the same
width (viz , sixty feet), as the same is now laid out
and marked on said street plat number eight, from
Denmead street northwardly to Twenty Second
street; aud said examiner or examiners, as the case
may be, shall act in all matters pertaining to the
opening, condemning and construction of said street,
and for the assessment of benefits and damages for
said street, as though that portion of said street,
from Denmead street to North avenue, had been
laid out and marked on said street plat section num-
ber eight.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners
|
|
|
|
|
of Frederick county, in their discretion, to levy,
|
|
|
|
|
annually, a sum of money for the erection and
|
|
|
|
|
furnishing of new school houses in said county.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
|
|
|
|
|
Frederick county be and they are hereby author-
|
|
|
|
|
ized, in their discretion, to levy, annually, a sum of
|
|
|
|
|
money not exceeding ten thousand dollars in any
|
|
|
|
|
one year, for the erection and furnishing of new
|
|
|
|

school houses in Frederick county, under the super-
vision of said county commissioners; such school
|
|
|
|
|
houses to be built and furnished in accordance with
|
|
|
|
|
the provisions of section five of chapter six of chap-
|
|
|
|
|
ter three hundred and seventy-seven of the acts of
|
|
|
|
|
the General Assembly passed at the January session,
|
|
|
|
|
eighteen hundred and seventy-two.
