hundred and nineteen dollars and eighty-eight cents,

consisting of a certain amount in cash and one piece

of leasehold property in Baltimore city.

|
|

AND WHEREAS the said Board of Commissioners

|
|
|
of Public Schools of Baltimore city have since trans-

ferred to the custody of the Mayor and City Coun-

|
|
cil of Baltimore city all of said estate.

|
|
|
|
AND WHEREAS the said property was derived from

|
|
|
|
the estate of Frederick Cole, deceased, the father of

|
|
the said Sarah Ann Fowler, who also left surviving
|
|
|
|
|
him his wife, Mary Cole.
|
|
|
|
|
AND WHEREAS Martha Rockhold, wife of Charles
|
|
|
|
|
Rockhold, Caroline Crook, wife of William Crook,
|
|
|
|
|
Ann E. Jennings and George Fowler Jennings are
|
|
|
|
|
the next of kin of Mary Cole, who is now deceased,
|
Preamble.
|
|
|
|
and are equitably entitled to her distributive share
|
|
|
|
|
of said estate, which, under the laws of the State of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, would amount to one-third thereof;
|
|
|
|
|
therefore,
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council
|
|
|
|
|
of Baltimore city be and they are hereby authorized,
|
|
|
|
|
empowered and directed to pay over to Martha
|
|
|
|
|
Rockhold , wife of Charles Rockhold, Caroline Crook,
wife of William Crook, Ann E. Jennings and George
Fowler Jennings, an amount equal to one-third of
|

said estate, in the following proportions: one-third

of said one-third to Martha Rockhold, one-third of

said one-third to Caroline Crook, and one-third of
