arrests of any persons, and seize any boats, vessels and


equipments engaged in violating the provisions of
this act. For such license the applicant shall pay


to the clerk of the circuit court issuing the same


as follows : for a boat or canoe measuring in length

sions of this act shall authorize the catching of


oysters for sale during the months of April, May,


June, July and August. And any person or per-


sons violating the provisions of this section shall be


subject to like penalties as are prescribed by the


preceding sections of this act.


SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That every applicant


for license under this act, to use any canoe or other


boat, in catching oysters for sale, with rakes or tongs,


shall be required to make oath or affirmation, before
