	CHAPTER 382.
	AN ACT to add additional sections to article four
	of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " City of
	Baltimore," Bub-title " Coal," providing for the
	protection of purchasers of coal in the city of
	Baltimore.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That the following sections be ad- ded as additional sections to article four of the Code	Additional
	of Public Local Laws, title " City of Baltimore,"	sections.
	sub-title " Coal," to be known as sections 292 A,
	293 B, 294 C, 295 D, 296 E and 297 F.
	SEC. 292 A. Every person or persons dealing in
	or selling mineral coal within the city of Baltimore,
	shall have scales of suitable capacity attached to the
	premises occupied by him, her or them ; any neglect	Must have
	upon the part of the dealer, seller or owner of coal	scales.
	yards or wharves, that are used for the sale of coal, to
	have the said scale or scales placed within the afore-
	said yards or wharves, shall be subject to a penalty of
	ten dollars for each and every offence, to be recov-
	ered by indictment and paid to the Comptroller of
	Baltimore city.
	SEC. 293 B. If any owner of cart or other vehicle
	used for hauling coal in the city of Baltimore shall
	neglect to have such coal weighed upon the scales
	named in the aforesaid section, or any dealer or sel-
	ler selling the aforesaid coal to any cart, wagon or	Must be
