SEC. 56. If the applicant for a license lives out of
|
|
|
|
|
the county or city wherein he proposes to carry on
|
|
|
|
|
such business of selling, bartering or otherwise dis-

|

wares and merchandise, or if the applicant lives out

of the State, or is unable to apply in person by rea-

may apply for license and make the affidavit as

hereinbefore provided.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the rights
|
|
|
|
|
of the State in all suits or prosecutions, civil or crim-
|
|
|
|
|
inal, now pending in any of the courts of this State
|
|
|
|

under said sections, are hereby saved and reserved,

and that the same shall be prosecuted to a final deter-

mination and judgment, and the payment of all fines
and penalties recovered under said judgments shall

be enforced in the same manner as if the said sec-
|
|
|
|
|
tions had not been repealed and re-enacted.

|
|
Effective.
|
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this act
|
|
|
|
|
shall take effect from the day of its passage.
