CHAPTER 338.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Counter and
|
|
|
|
|
Seam Protected Boot Company of Baltimore city,
|
|
|
|
|
by empowering it to hold and dispose of patent
|
|
|
|
|
rights suitable to the purposes of its incorporation.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the Counter and Seam Pro-
|

tected Boot Company of Baltimore city, a corpora-

purchase.

|
tion incorporated under the provisions of the General
|
|
|
|
|
Laws of Maryland, be and the same is hereby
|
|
|
|
|
authorized and empowered to acquire by purchase
|
|
|
|
|
or in any other lawful manner, all rights secured
|
|
|
|
|
by any letters patent issued or to be issued by the
|
|
|
|
|
United States, relating to the manufacture of boots
|
|
|
|
|
or shoes, and to assign or otherwise dispose of, in
|
|
|
|
|
the State of Maryland or elsewhere, in whole or in
|
|
|
|
|
part, the rights secured by any such letters patent,
|
|
|
|
|
and to grant licenses to manufacture in the State of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland or elsewhere, boots or shoes under such
|

letters patent, and also to make any covenants,

agreements, bargains or contracts not contrary to
|
|
|
|
|
law, relative to such letters patent, or to the use or

|
|
|
|
exercise of the rights thereby conferred, or to the

|
articles manufactured under said patents.

|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
|
|
|
|
|
take effect from the date of its passage, and the
|

|
General Assembly reserves to itself the right to
|
|
|
|
|
alter, amend or repeal this act at pleasure.

|
|
|
