CHAPTER 335.

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and thirteen
|
|
|
|
|
of article eight, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
|
|
|
|
|
title " Cecil County," sub-title " Justices of the
|
|
|
|
|
Peace and Constables," and to re-enact the same
|
|
|
|
|
with amendments, as follows :
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That section one hundred and
thirteen of article eight of the Code of Public Local
|
Repealed and
re-enacted.
|
|
|
|
Laws, title " Cecil County," sub-title " Justices of
|
|
|
|
|
the Peace and Constables," be repealed, amended
|
|
|
|
|
and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 113. There shall be the following number of
|
Justices and
|
|
|
|
justices of the peace and constables for Cecil county :
|
constables
|
|
|
|
For election district number one, three justices of
|
|
|
|
|
the peace and two constables ; for number three, four
|
|
|
|
|
justices of the peace and two constables ; and for
|
|
|
|
|
number five, six and seven, three justices of the
|
|
|
|
|
peace and two constables ; and for the remaining
|
|
|
|
|
districts, two justices of the peace and two constables.
|
|
|
|
|
And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
|
Effective.
|
|
|
|
from the date of its passage.
|
|
|
|
|

AN ACT to provide for the payment of a certain
sum of money to Charles H. Gibson, late States'
Attorney for Talbot county, for professional ser-
vices rendered the State.
