	CHAPTER 308.
	AN ACT appropriating a sum of money to pay
	Thomas H. "Walls, late collector of taxes for the
	second election district of Queen Anne's county,
	the amount overpaid by him into the treasury.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he
	ia hereby authorized to issue his warrant upon the
	Treasurer to pay to Thomas H. Walls, of Queen
	Anne's county, the sum of fifteen dollars and thirty-	Issue war- rant.
	six cents, payment thereof being recommended by
	the officers of the Treasury Department, being the
	amount overpaid by him into the treasury as col-
	lector of taxes for tho second election district of
	Queen Anne's county, for the year eighteen hun-
	dred and seventy-seven.
	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall	Effective.

	AN ACT to change a portion of the dividing line
	between the third and fifth election district of
	Garrett county.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That the present dividing line between the third and fifth election districtsof Garrett
	county be changed so as to run as follows : Begin- ning at the top of Negro Mountain where the road	Change of line.
